ADVANCEMENT CHAIR

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill the functions of the Advancement Committee
  • Recruit new members, retain, and direct committee members.
  • Conduct monthly
  • Responsible for transitioning and educating incoming Advancement Chair on roles/responsibilities and other pertinent documents.
  • Promotion of the Fellow Credential to eligible healthcare executives.
  • Provide leadership and support to committee members.
  • In collaboration with other committee chairs serves as a liaison to ensure Advancement Committee’s purpose.
  • Serve as a reference for eligible Fellow candidates.
  • Participate in monthly Committee Chair calls and will be expected to report on event strengths and

Qualifications:

  • Familiar with ACHE Fellow requirements, databases, and resources
  • Member in good standing with the chapter
  • Organizational, time management, and administrative skills

Term of Office:

  • One (1) Year

Time Commitment:

  • Average 7‐10 hours per month
  • Miss no more than 2 board of director’s meetings
  • Highly encouraged to attend all events, with requested attendance at Cocktails with the Chief,

Gala, Past President’s Boat Ride and Holiday Party, and other functions, as necessary.
