SUMMARY:The Future of Long-Term Care: Workforce\, Capacity\, and the Changing Continuum of Care
DESCRIPTION:Please note that this event has a TWO-STEP registration process.  After you purchase your ticket below\, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with instructions and the link to register on ACHE’s Learning Management System (LMS).  Once you register on ACHE’s LMS\, you will get a confirmation email denoting a successful “checkout”.  Registrants will not be able to access the virtual course in their MY ACHE account until 5-days prior to the event.  The link for the 8/19 event will come in a separate email from ACHE. \nAs hospitals across the country face challenges with discharge delays\, an aging population\, and increasing care complexity\, long-term care providers are playing a more critical role than ever in the healthcare continuum. This panel will explore how long-term care organizations are adapting to workforce shortages\, evolving reimbursement models\, and rising patient acuity while continuing to provide high-quality care. Panelists will share insights on innovative workforce strategies\, partnerships with hospitals and health systems\, and what healthcare leaders must understand about the future role of long-term care in ensuring system-wide access and sustainability.\nTo assist with registration\, ACHE has created a Step-By-Step Registration Guide on how to register for a chapter event. \nThis event has been approved by ACHE for 1.5 Virtual Interactive Credit Hours.  Participants must attend all 90-minutes of this session in order to receive the allocated credits offered.
