The Donate Eight Simulation Center\, located at the LiveOnNY Headquarters in Queens\, is state-of-the-art and advances excellence in organ donor care through trainings for LiveOnNY clinical and field staff and education for the public on the lifesaving process of organ donation. The Center includes a fully equipped mock Operating Room and mock Intensive Care Unit designed to train employees in donor case management within a controlled and immersive environment. To date\, LiveOnNY has welcomed hundreds of visitors\, including high school and college students\, state representatives\, and many others. The Simulation Center has become an incredible resource – not only for training our staff\, but also as a highly effective tool for community education.
