The Finance Committee's role is to ensure HLNY's fiduciary responsibilities are in line with the HLNY mission. The Treasurer leads the Finance Committee and supports the chapter in its fiduciary responsibilities.
Non-Board Member Finance Committee
Responsibilities
Work with Program and Gala/Sponsorship members in collecting all money /processing payments at events by supporting the registration area at events.
Deposit collected money received at chapter events in the chapters’ bank account.
Help Treasurer/Finance Chair with other assigned duties.
Qualifications
Organizational skills
Familiarity with accounting processes
Budget development and financial management skills
Member in good standing with the chapter

Time Commitment
1-2 hours per month
Highly encouraged to attend all events
