HLNY is delighted to share with you a partner event hosted by EisnerAmper.
Cybersecurity continues to be a significant challenge for health care provider organizations. The magnitude, frequency and cost of cybersecurity incidents are increasing dramatically in almost every industry including health care. The question every health care provider is asking and must answer is whether the actions it is taking today to mitigate its risks are sufficient to stand up to the test after a cyber incident occurs. This course will let you hear from C-Suite executives who have “been there, done that.”
Course Objective: To explain how health care providers have implemented practical, risk-based solutions to properly manage and monitor cybersecurity threats.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will be able to:
- Identify where we are today in the healthcare industry with cyber threats and what senior management and boards are thinking about
- Discuss how the panel participants have approached mitigating the risk of breach, including developing and communicating mitigation plans and establishing training programs
- Discuss how to deal with cybersecurity incidents, including establishing a process and structure to enable success in your response
