Healthcare Leaders of New York (HLNY) is thrilled to spotlight Dave Ortiz, MBA-HCA as we continue celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month. Dave is an experienced healthcare executive with a strong 27-year background in ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), cancer services and operations, value-based care, quality improvement, and IT implementation. With a proven track record of 25 years of success in leadership roles, David has developed a deep understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, and business development. He is the youngest son of Dominican migrants who came to the United States to build a better life for themselves. He holds an MBA with a concentration in healthcare services and is currently a doctoral candidate in health sciences. David is the President-Elect of the NY, NJ, and Connecticut chapter of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives and the CEO of the Crystal Run Ambulatory Surgery Center in Middletown, NY.
