In light of Women’s History Month, Healthcare Leaders of New York’s DEI committee is proud to spotlight Christina Bogie-Claxton at Montefiore Health System, former HLNY Vice President! We asked Christina, “Who or what has inspired her most in her career?”, and she stated:

“Dr. Carle-Marie Memnon has inspired me the most in my career. At that time in my career, I felt stuck and uninspired. My leadership coach told me I should obtain a mentor for growth opportunities and recommended that I reach out to Dr. Carle-Marie. Once I connected with her, she introduced me to Healthcare Leaders of NY and other Healthcare organizations. These organizations assisted in the success of my career in healthcare. I have since collaborated with young careerists and provided mentorship opportunities for the last three years. A few mentors that participate in the program are women in C-Suite positions. They have dedicated their efforts to provide their success stories with mentees to help guide them in their career to hopefully become a C-Suite leader.”
